Sharon Rowlands was named CEO of ReachLocal in April 2014. Ms. Rowlands has more than 20 years of experience leading multi-billion dollar companies serving small- and medium-sized businesses, financial markets, and enterprise customers. From 2011 to 2013, she was CEO of Altegrity, which she transformed from a holding company into three independent business units, each with its own growth strategy. From 2008 to 2011 Ms. Rowlands was CEO of Penton Media, and prior to that she was with Thomson Financial. During her over ten-year tenure at Thomson, she held a variety of executive-level positions, including President and CEO from 2005 to 2008, and established the company as one of the most innovative partners to the global financial community. Previously, Ms. Rowlands held executive leadership roles at Financial Times Information (now Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data, Inc.). She was previously a Member of the Board of Directors of Constant Contact (Nasdaq: CTCT) and served on the Board of Directors for Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADP) from 2008 to 2011. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Local Search Association, the largest trade organization of companies engaged in local advertising and marketing. Ms. Rowlands received her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of London and her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Newcastle, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
Ross G. Landsbaum has served as our Chief Financial Officer since 2008. Prior to joining us, Mr. Landsbaum held various executive positions at MacAndrews and Forbes' Panavision a service provider to the motion picture and television industries, including Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2007 and Chief Operating Officer in 2007. Prior to Panavision, Mr. Landsbaum served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer for Miramax Films, the art-house and independent film division of The Walt Disney Company, from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, he served in various capacities, including as the Chief Financial Officer at Spelling Entertainment Group a diversified entertainment concern, and various capacities at Arthur Andersen. He has been on the Board of Directors of Outerwall (Nasdaq: OUTR), and also serves on its audit committee, since July 2014. Mr. Landsbaum holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
Kris Barton has served as ReachLocal's Chief Product Officer since February 2012. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of multimedia software and platform company Nero AG from 2010 to 2012. Since starting at Nero in 2006, Barton also held the title of Executive Vice President of Global Products, overseeing all product development. Prior to Nero, Barton served in multiple management roles at Microsoft Corporation from 2001 to 2006, overseeing the product development efforts for the MSN online properties including MSN.com and MSN network channels. Barton has also held product positions at Omniture and Novell Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and marketing communications from Brigham Young University.
Paras Maniar has served as the Chief Strategy Officer for ReachLocal since March 2015. Prior to ReachLocal, Mr. Maniar was at WPSChallenger where he managed the venture fund's portfolio and investment decisions in North America. Prior to that, he was a founding executive of EQAL, a social media startup acquired by Everyday Health (NYSE: EVDY). While at EQAL, Mr. Maniar served in various executive roles including Chief Strategy Officer, EVP of Corporate Development, Chief Operating Officer and board member. Mr. Maniar also spent four years at McKinsey and Company where he was a member of the company's Telecomm, Media and Technology practice. He has a MBA and Juris Doctor from the Kellogg School of Management and Northwestern University School of Law, respectively, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Economies from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Maniar is an active member of the Los Angeles startup community and sits on the Board of Directors of Silversheet.
Bala Menon has served as our Senior Vice President, Global Services since November 2014. Mr. Menon was Vice President of Services for North America from 2011 to November 2014. Prior to joining ReachLocal, Mr. Menon held a number of leadership roles at Rockwell Collins, a global leader in aerospace and defense technologies, and International Paper, one of the larger paper and packaging companies in the world. Mr. Menon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Christian Brothers University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa.
Megan Opp has served as our Chief People Officer since February 2015. Most recently, Ms. Opp served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Conversant, a leader in personalized digital marketing, where she developed worldwide programs focused on compensation, learning & development, employee recognition and talent acquisition. Before Conversant, she served as Chief People Officer for SpinMedia, a digital media company. Ms. Opp was also Vice President of Human Resources for eSolar, a developer of large utility-scale solar thermal power plants. Additionally, Ms. Opp held leadership roles in Human Resources at CB Richard Ellis and Move Inc. Ms. Opp holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Syracuse University.
Amber Seikaly has served as Global Vice President of Corporate Communications since April 2014. Ms. Seikaly brings nearly 20 years of experience from top name brands including Yum Brands, Target, Visa and Dell. She most recently was at Dell where she led communications strategy for M&A, social and digital communications. She also led communications during Dell's go-private process. Her responsibilities at ReachLocal include public relations, executive communications, internal communications, and analyst relations. Ms. Seikaly received her Bachelor of Arts in Latin from the University of California Los Angeles.
Steven Prestidge is a General Manager of Asia and a Managing Director of Australia, and has been with the company since 2007. Prior to joining ReachLocal, Mr. Prestidge was Vice President Sales at Getty Images. Previous to that role, Mr. Prestidge held a variety of senior sales management positions at Dell Computer from 1994-2006. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Evesham College and a variety of industry qualifications in sales, management and marketing.
Craig Harris is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Europe, and has been with the company since 2008. Prior to joining ReachLocal, Mr. Harris held several executive positions including Chief Financial Officer at Travel.com.au Limited and General Manager at Tramada Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Western Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University.
Jose Coscelli is the General Manager of Latin America and the Managing Director of Brazil, and has been with the company since July 2012. Prior to joining ReachLocal, Mr. Coscelli served as Chief Operating Officer of Globalweb Brazil, a cloud computing company. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Coscelli was Vice President Sales of Dedalus Prime, an outsourcing provider. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Coscelli served as Sales Director of Siemens LTDA Brazil. Prior to that, Mr. Coscelli served various executives positions at BankBoston Brazil and Bloomberg Latin America. He holds Bachelor of Economics from PUC Sao Paulo Catholic University and a Masters Certificate from Babson College.
John Gould has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America since December 2013. Prior to that, he spent a year as Senior Vice President of Operations for ClubLocal & ReachCommerce. Before joining ReachLocal, Mr. Gould spent 14 years with Dell, Inc., where he held various executive leadership and general management roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Director and General Manager of Dell's Global IT Consulting division for both EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and the Americas' regions (~$400M P&L). Before assuming that position, he started up a webhosting division in Dell, ran Sales and Service, and completed a strategic transaction selling a division of the company to Sprint Corporation. Prior to Dell, Mr. Gould held various senior sales leadership roles at Compaq, ADP, and The MathWorks. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Connecticut College and a Master's of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
